Town Hall: Research Strategic Plan Task Force Update

Please join the ETSU Research Strategic Plan Task Force Co-Chairs, Drs. Pamela Mims and Saurabh Mehta, for a Research Strategic Plan Town Hall. This session offers students, staff, and faculty an opportunity to hear the most recent updates as the task force moves into drafting the strategic plan. The Co-Chairs will provide an overview of the process to date and share key findings from task force subgroup work and campus listening sessions that will inform the final draft.

Patent Training with Jennifer Livingston

The ETSU Research Corporation and the Office of the Vice Provost for Research are excited to welcome Jennifer Livingston from Dinsmore to campus on February 17th and 18th to provide patent training to interested scholars. Jennifer is very familiar with ETSU and has been instrumental in filing ETSU patents over the past few years. While all are welcome, Jennifer’s expertise is in the life sciences. The overarching goal of the training is to bolster intellectual property awareness, training, and IP disclosures. To work around attendee schedules, Jennifer will offer three, 90-minute training sessions over the 2-day period.

The event highlights the work of undergraduate students, graduate students, residents and fellows and includes a poster session, oral presentations, creative displays, and a community engagement showcase.
