Fully ONLINE delivery is offered for the Biostatistics, Community Health, Epidemiology, and Public Health Leadership & Policy concentrations. Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Sciences is offered in a hybrid format delivery.
Fully ONLINE delivery is offered for all certificates with the exception of the Global Health and Rural Health certificates. All graduate certificates are available in a campus-based delivery.
All concentrations are available in a campus-based delivery. In addition, all concentrations and delivery methods offer the option of Fall or Spring term start.

The Master of Health Administration (MHA) is a professional degree preparing graduates for leadership positions in healthcare administration. It indicates to potential employers that the student has obtained a high level of knowledge related to the health services management environment. The MHA is accredited through the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH).

Biostatistics
Biostatistics is a quantitative field in which students learn how to collect, manage, and analyze public health data. This curriculum provides instruction in basic analytical methods and the use of statistical software.
Biostatisticians with advanced degrees can find positions in government, industry, and academia. Community Health affords the student the opportunity to learn how to interact with communities for the purpose of health education and promotion; how to develop and conduct health assessments and program evaluations; and the importance of establishing collaborative organizational and community partnerships.

Epidemiology
Epidemiology is the "basic science of public health," and as such epidemiologists are health professionals who study disease, illness, and injuries and attempt to determine: who becomes ill; why certain people are more likely to become ill: and how to prevent the spread of illness.
Epidemiologists are public health professionals who investigate patterns and causes of disease and injury in humans. They seek to reduce the risk and occurrence of negative health outcomes through research, community education, and health policy.

Public Health Leadership & Policy
The MPH in Public Health Leadership & Policy prepares graduates for leadership roles in public health and health policy through an applied curriculum focused on practice and interprofessional experiences.
Graduates are ready to effectively lead a public health organization using their budgeting, finance, strategic planning, and policy design, implementation, and analysis skills. This concentration is ideal for students interested in public health, health policy, and health disparities research to prepare for careers in the workforce as well as for advanced terminal degrees (e.g., DrPH, PhD, JD).

The Aging Studies and Public Health Graduate Certificate Program is an interdisciplinary program of study designed to prepare public health professionals and related fields with the training and expertise to support older adults. The focus of the program is to educate students who will be leaders in improving the quality of life for older individuals and their families in Tennessee, the nation, and the world. Health Care Management
Health care management is multidisciplinary field of inquiry and practice concerned with the organization, financing, delivery and quality of health services for individuals and populations. Health Data Analytics
This is a 13-credit multidisciplinary program that includes developing and building skills in the foundations of epidemiology and biostatistics, data visualization, data modeling, and using data to inform decisions to improve organizations and programs.There is no requirement for previous coding experience(such as SAS, SQL, or Python coding), but the program will be more flexible for students who have previous coding experience.
Students enrolling in the Health Data Analytics Graduate Certificate program can begin as early as the Fall 2020 semester and can complete the entire program inas few as nine (9) months!

One Health and Climate Studies
The One Health and Climate Studies Graduate Certificate is a 13-credit 100% online program housed by the College of Public Health and College of Arts and Sciences.
This graduate certificate will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between environmental shifts and health outcomes at the human-animal interface, enabling them to develop innovative strategies to address complex health systems, advocate for evidence-based policies, and lead efforts that bridge the gap between health and sustainability.
